Vision:  The Finance Department is a coordinated team that provides outstanding professional services to both internal and external customers.  Promoting public confidence in the fiscal management of Liberty County resources is essential to our vision. 

 Mission:  Our mission is to manage the financial affairs of Liberty County.  This includes the efficient and judicious use of County resources, the stewardship of public funds, and the safeguarding of assets.   We provide sound financial practices based on generally accepted accounting principles and ensure compliance with state and federal reporting requirements.  

 Department Description:  Under the administration of the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Department is responsible for the County’s financial reporting, budgeting, payroll administration, purchasing, accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, fixed assets, grant management, and cash management.
