All Liberty County offices will be closed on Monday September 6, 2010 for the Labor Day Holiday. County offices will reopen at their normal times on Tuesday September 7, 2010.

Liberty County Hurricane Shelter Information |

This is an update to the information published recently in the Coastal Courier's Hurricane Planning Guide.
THERE WILL BE NO SHELTERS OPENED OR AVAILABLE IN LIBERTY COUNTY BEFORE OR DURING A HURRICANE. In the event that an evacuation is ordered, Liberty County residents should follow the evacuation information and leave Liberty County until hurricane conditions have cleared and residents are allowed to return to Liberty County.
After a hurricane has passed and residents are allowed back in the County, or for other special events that require shelters to be opened, the following shelters in Liberty County have been approved to be opened in coordination with the American Red Cross.

Voters Registration Office has Moved! |

|
|
The Voters Registrations / Elections Office has moved into a new temporary location at 204 W. Memorial Drive (the old Brooks/Napa Auto Parts store next door to the Hinesville Public Library). Voters Registration will remain in this location until further notice.
The office at 102 S. Commerce Street will remain open for Early/Advance Voting through July 16, 2010.
