RE: New Sales Tax Rate for Liberty County Businesses
Dear Business Owner:
On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, the citizens of Liberty County voted to approve the one cent Transportation Special Local Option Sales Tax (T-SPLOST).
Effective October 1, 2020, you will need to charge an additional penny ($0.01) to all eligible, taxable items and services. Please note: this additional $0.01 is not applicable to the sale of Fuel.
